 | Musical Director: Richard Bagnall Richard is a graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. He has been associated with Furness Music Centre for about 15 years, and was appointed as Musical Director in 2011. Richard is a graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, and a qualified teacher and works at both primary and secondary schools in Barrow-in-Furness and also conduct the Windermere Rehearsal Orchestra. A clarinettist by training, he also plays most other woodwind instruments. |
 | Choral Director: Elizabeth Wiejak Liz is a graduate of Sheffield University and a qualified teacher, currently working in a school in Barrow-in-Furness. She has been associated with Furness Music Centre for about 15 years, and was appointed as Choral Director in 2011. Liz is a flautist and pianist and teaches both instruments. She looks after our younger members in the Training and Community orchestra, while also managing to slip out to give flute lessons and tutor children and adults in music theory. When conducting and rehearsing our choir on Saturdays she is powered by tea and adrenaline! |
